series at this new JP venue.
Namaste Cafe Open Mic Fridays 8-10pm. Nils hosts the weekly acoustic open mic at the
Namaste Cafe in West Newton, MA. Some of the featured performers include: Pablo Picker,
Emiliy Mckinnin, Roselle O'Brien, & Barry Marino, Katrin Roush, Bryan Murphy, Jay Basnight,
John Cremona, Brenda White (of Chapter in Verse), Charlene DiCalogero, Hartford's Grey, and
Wendi Faren.
October 30, 2003 All Asia Cafe in Cambridge, MA - 9:30 pm Nils was invited by Paved
Earth Music, an innovative all online music label to play for their pre halloween night of local rock
and punk acts. Close to a dozen groups played all night on the 30th. Other performers to include:
My first handgun,Section 12, Christie Leigh, Alison Block, Michael Kelley&Band, Michael Van
London & Deep Chinappa, Research As Shown, Al Rock&Butterscotch, Andrew S, Shabbar,
Reaxis,Clemmy's Guttata. $3 cover 19+. Costumes were encouraged and there were some pretty
good ones like the caped masked duo in orange spandex, and a zombie cowboy.
October 17, 2003 Viper Bar in Canton, MA - 9 pm Christie Leigh brought some of the areas
best songwriters into this basement bar.The Viper Bar's Sean and Rob have made recording local
music their passion logging thousands of hours of performances in just a few short years. Nils
joined Leesa, Thea Hopkins, Dave Mason, Kara Tondorf, Jason Goss, New Blood,Rosanna Lee,
Acousticeol, Boy + Rocket featuring Samuel Rosen, Patrick DeCoste, and of course Christie
Leigh with Nate Christy.
October 6, 2003 All Asia Cafe in Cambridge - 10-11 pm. Bring your friends. Kore is hosting
several nights of live local music at the All Asia.
October 3, 2003 All Asia Cafe in Cambridge An impromtpu night at the All Asia Cafe hosted
by Kore. During the night Nils shared the stage with Our Glass Figure, Christie Leigh, Kore &
more.
September 29, 2003 Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain Nils played at the new singer-songwriter
series at hosted by Raven Sadhaka. Here's the lineup also included: Jim McCarthy, Jon Gorey,
Raven Sadhaka, Mike Delaney , and Jo Henley an acoustic duo.
August 9,2003 -Upstairs at the Chit-Chat Lounge - Haverhill, Ma 9:30 pm Jaimie Laird
and Nils played all night long to the Chit Chat loung Crowd. This was a fun gig, about 50 people
turned out over the course of the evening to hear songs from the new album Little Things and
more. If you wern't there you missed out!
